Consett Memories
As part of Consett History Week we are holding an exhibition called Consett Memories. It will involve the launch of our Memory Box project which consists of boxes for each decade from the 50’s to the 90’s. Come & explore the box from the decade you remember best as a child. We want your feedback & we aim to make them available to any group who wants to use them, they are great tools to engage all ages & break the ice, encourage wellbeing & inspire creative projects.
As well as photo exhibits & a virtual walk through the streets of Consett on screen, there are exhibits from other groups including model locomotives restored by Consett Steelworks group. We will be providing refreshments & a warm welcome.
