I was born here and lived at Pleasant view , Consett until aged 5 leaving in 1968.
I’m trying to find pictures of my primary school I think it was called Bridgehill (?) . I know it was up a hill and can remember looking through the railings to watch the delivery van unloading to the tuck shop opposite.
It was an old Victorian building , toilets were in a block in one side of the yard !
